GMS Composites Standard High Performance Prepreg Range

A choice of ten standard prepreg resins systems have been developed for fabricating both high performance composite tooling and finished composite parts using vacuum production processing.  Both ‘in’ and ‘out of autoclave’ (OoA) prepreg resins are available, with a range of cure temperatures from 55 0C to 250 0C.

All standard high performance prepreg resin systems and resin films can be combined with a wide range of woven and multi-axial technical fabrics and reinforcement fibres based on: glass fibre, carbon fibre and aramid fibre, as well as other specialty fibres and hybrid fabrics to suit application performance needs. Max Tg performance of standard resins available ranges from 70 0C up to 3100C.

All standard prepregs and resin films are made to order to ensure maximum shelf life and are supplied globally.

EP-282 Epoxy EP-282 is a resin layer film, optionally available with or without a lightweight scrim.  EP-282 is not only fully compatible with EP-280 prepreg resin, but is also compatible with all grades of GMS Composites prepregs. GMS Composites Resin Film datasheet_EP-282-v1

Resin films for high fibre volume laminates and cored composite sandwich structures with high mechanical properties infused with minimal voids.  Semi solid epoxy resin films with release paper are generally used in the aerospace industry for vacuum bag mould low void high performance light weight laminate designs.
